Jeff McGoey, CFA, CAIA

Jeff McGoey is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer at iCapital, and part of the Executive Management Team. In this role, Jeff is responsible for overseeing critical client service functions, including Fund Finance, Fund Tax, Fund Governance and Reporting, Origination, Operations and Investor Relations.

Prior to joining iCapital, Jeff was a Managing Director in Bank of America/Merrill Lynch’s (BAML) Investments Solutions Group (ISG) where he served as the COO and Head of ISG Business Enablement and Governance, serving BAML’s Wealth Platform with offerings across Investment Advisory, Alternative & Traditional Investments, Capital Markets, and Personal Retirement Solutions. Previously, Jeff held operating leadership positions including Head of Specialty Asset Management (SAM) and COO for the combined Alternative Investment and SAM business. He has served on the Board of Managers of Merrill Lynch Alternative Investments LLC, has been a Director of Merrill Lynch Private Equity Offshore, LP, has been a Director to 56 Cayman based hedge feeder funds in addition to various roles including hedge fund and private equity origination, exchange fund and customized fund oversight, audit and executive equity services.

Jeff is a CFA Charter holder, maintains the CAIA designation and holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Rutgers College in New Jersey. Jeff won the Bank of America Diversity and Inclusion award for his efforts towards women empowerment and is a three-time President’s Silver award winner for volunteering, logging over 250 hours of service in three consecutive years.
