The 11-time LPGA Tour winner has accepted a sponsor invite to make her PGA TOUR debut at the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas this week.
Ms. Thompson kicked off her competitive golf career by qualifying as the youngest golfer ever to play in the U.S. Women’s Open. She was also the youngest to win a tournament on the LPGA Tour. Ms. Thompson, who became a brand ambassador for iCapital in 2022, will participate in the tournament’s first round on Thursday, October 12 at TPC Summerlin, competing for the prize purse in a 132-player field.
