Ihor is a Managing Director at iCapital, where he introduces the firm’s solutions to wealth and alternative asset managers. Prior to joining iCapital, Ihor spent 13 years at BlackRock, where he held several roles including serving as a member of the Digital Wealth team focusing on technology related to the alternative investment space.
Previously, he headed the Alternative Investments business within the US Wealth Group, which included both traditional and liquid alternatives. He was responsible for the placement of numerous hedge fund, private equity, and real asset products at partner firms as well as launching and product managing a suite of liquid alternative mutual funds. Before joining BlackRock, Ihor spent 12 years at Merrill Lynch, where he held roles in the Asset Management (MLIM) and Private Client (USPC) groups. He initiated the sales coverage model of the Private Banking and investment group while at MLIM after leading the marketing of the firm’s separately managed account offering. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1993 as part of the firm’s Private Client Development Program. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA charterholder.
