ZURICH, HONG KONG & NEW YORK — iCapital1, the global fintech platform driving the world’s alternative investment marketplace for the wealth management industry, today announced the appointment of two senior hires to strengthen its leadership team in APAC and EMEA. Tuan Lam will join the firm as Head of APAC, and Daniel Imhof as Head of Client Solutions EMEA.
Founded in 2013, iCapital has grown to service more than $191 billion in platform assets, including $30 billion originating from investors outside the U.S. The momentum of iCapital’s international expansion aligns with the rise of the alternatives industry, underscoring that private markets have become a strategic priority for wealth managers aiming for diversification and potentially higher returns. This trend has led to an increased adoption of iCapital’s operating system and capabilities among banks, wealth managers, and asset managers globally.

Tuan Lam
Mr. Lam will join iCapital as Head of APAC. With iCapital’s expansion in APAC, including opening offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and most recently Tokyo, and entering the Australian market, Mr. Lam will lead and strengthen iCapital’s growth and business development activities across APAC.
Mr. Lam joins iCapital with over 30 years of expertise in asset management and investment banking. Most recently, Mr. Lam was a partner at Goldman Sachs where he served in various senior leadership roles, including Chairman of the Client Solutions Group and Head of Client Business for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Asia ex-Japan. Before that, he was instrumental in building the firm’s Alternatives Investments & Manager Selection business in Asia, focusing on private equity and hedge funds investments, secondary transactions, and direct co-investments. Mr. Lam will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Mr. Bizzozero.
Edwin Chan
Over the last three years, Mr. Chan has grown iCapital’s business in APAC, significantly increasing the firm’s client franchise across the region. Building on his initial success in the region, Mr. Chan will continue to focus on strategic client and business development activities as Head of Client Solutions APAC.
Daniel Imhof
Mr. Imhof will join iCapital as the Head of EMEA Client Solutions. He will spearhead the firm’s business development activities and expand its client base in the region. Mr. Imhof will particularly focus on banks, wealth management organizations, and independent financial advisors across EMEA.
Mr. Imhof brings a wealth of experience to iCapital, with over 30 years of industry expertise in Wealth and Asset Management. He held global senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse, Schroders, and UBS. Most recently, Mr. Imhof was the Global Head of Investment Management at Credit Suisse and a voting member of the Global Investment Committee responsible for the firm’s house view. In addition, he was also Chair of the Investment Committee of the Credit Suisse Pension Fund. Before joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Imhof was Head of Global Sales at Schroders based in London, and prior to this, he spent more than 20 years at UBS, where he last served as Global Head Portfolio Specialists in the UBS Wealth Management division. Mr. Imhof will be based in Zurich and will report to Mr. Bizzozero.
