NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–iCapital Network, an online marketplace providing qualified investors and their advisors with access to private equity fund managers, today announced the hires of Kunal Shah as Senior Vice President of Fund Manager Due Diligence and Caroline Rasmussen as Vice President of Fund Manager Due Diligence. The addition of Mr. Shah and Ms. Rasmussen enhances iCapital’s ability to provide investors with the robust diligence needed to evaluate hundreds of private equity managers raising new funds at any given time and make informed investment decisions.

Mr. Shah, previously a Principal at consulting and advisory firm Meketa Investment Group, brings deep due diligence experience to iCapital Network. He served as leader of Meketa’s Private Equity team, responsible for sourcing global private equity fund managers and for overseeing due diligence processes. Mr. Shah led the firm’s due diligence efforts for private markets partnerships in the areas of buyouts, venture capital, private debt, special situations, infrastructure and natural resources.
Prior to joining Meketa Investment Group, Mr. Shah served as an analyst for The Vanguard Group and worked in the private equity and research group of Hirtle, Callaghan & Co.

Prior to this, she was an analyst in the Private Fund Group at UBS, focusing on due diligence and analysis of PE managers. She has extensive experience developing market research and diligence materials for institutional investors. Ms. Rasmussen received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in International Economics from the University of Virginia.
