With 4x Asset under Management (AUM) growth ambitions, Alumni Ventures aimed to grow but were limited by their capacity to efficiently verify investors. Since implementing iCapital, Alumni Ventures has seen a 66% reduction in investor onboarding time, reducing onboarding from 30 minutes to 10. iCapital’s streamlined, approachable user experience has also decreased investor drop-off. Plus, Alumni Ventures can send investors directly to iCapital for customer support or questions.
At the same time, Alumni Ventures’ compliance team has benefited from the iCapital dashboard, which displays both investor accreditation and KYC/AML verification in one place. Importantly, iCapital keeps Alumni Ventures abreast of any updates in SEC regulatory requirements.
