Vanda de Jesus

Vanda is iCapital’s Head of Portugal. In this position, she oversees the continued growth of the iCapital team in Lisbon across all functions.

Prior to joining iCapital, Vanda was with the Portuguese Government where she was Executive Director of Portugal Digital heading the county’s efforts to accelerate its digital transformation. Before that, Vanda spent seven years with Microsoft Portugal, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer and Public Relations Lead. Prior to her tenure at Microsoft, Mrs. Jesus served as Marketing and Sales Director at Viatecla (Software start-up), and Executive Director at APDC (Portuguese Association for Telco, IT and Media Businesses), she started her career in Business Consulting. Vanda has a robust history of leadership positions with premier Portuguese government and non-government organizations focused on economic development through technology.

Vanda holds a post-graduate degree in E-Business from IDEFE, Lisbon, Portugal as well as a degree in Management with a specialization in marketing from Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da empresa (ISCTE), Lisbon, Portugal. Vanda is a Non-Executive Board Member at Startup Portugal – a non-profit organization with the mission to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in Portugal.
